Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), the role you chose, where you live (country) and your language and display preferences.

Project content you and your team add: project details, phases, tasks, daily reports, photos and files, budgets, expenses, payment requests, issues, comments and the people on each project.

Activity records: a project history of who changed what and when, notifications, and sign-in times.

Messages you send us through Help or the Contact form, including your name and email.

Photos are resized on your device before upload, and their location and camera data are removed at that point, so we do not receive them.

Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as your IP address and browser type in server logs.

2. How we use it

To provide SiteBota: show each person what their role allows, send sign-in and account emails, deliver in-app notifications, answer your questions and keep the service secure.

To improve SiteBota using aggregated usage (for example, how many projects are active). We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who can see it

People on your project, according to their role. The project owner controls who joins.

SiteBota staff can see account and project summaries (names, emails, project names, progress, counts) to support you. They can see a project's budget, expenses, files or reports only when its owner allows support access, which is read-only, time-limited and recorded in the project's history.

Service providers that run SiteBota for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, and storage for the files and photos you upload) and our email provider Resend. They process data only on our instructions.

Authorities, if required by law or to protect people's safety or our rights.

4. Cookies

We use only cookies needed for SiteBota to work: your sign-in session, your language and theme, sidebar layout, the last project you opened, and the owner's "Preview as" mode. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored with our providers in the United States. If you use SiteBota from another country, your information is transferred there, with the protections described in this policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and project data while your account is active. Project histories are kept for the life of the project so the record stays reliable. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise personal information within [90] days, except where we must keep it by law or it forms part of another owner's project record.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your name, language and theme in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, at legal@fidaventures.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, including to object or complain to a data protection authority.

8. Security

Access to every project is enforced in the database itself, connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and project histories cannot be edited. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at legal@fidaventures.com if you believe there is a problem.

9. Children

SiteBota is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes and contact
